Asian stocks climbed on speculation China’s economy will avoid the recession of
global counterparts and as higher commodities prices drove gains by resource shares. Gold, little changed in Asia, may advance for a second day, after gaining the most in a month as a declining dollar boosted the metal’s appeal as an alternative investment. Silver also gained.
